[성경 필사] 요한 복음 3장 1-21절

오늘 하루도 성경 말씀 필사로 시작합니다. 하루에도 몇 번씩 마음이 중심을 잡지 못하고 많은 유혹에 흔들리는 저를 봅니다. 한 눈 팔지 않고 바른 길로 묵묵히 걸어갈 수 있기를 청해 봅니다.

성경필사 요한복음 3장 1-21절

기도

사랑이신 주님. 강한 바람에 몸이 흔들릴 수 있어도 마음만은 주님의 길에서 벗어나지 않도록 자비로운 손길로 저를 이끌어 주소서.

 

필사

바리사이 가운데 니코데모라는 사람이 있었다. 그는 유다인들의 최고 의회 의원이었다.

Now there was a Pharisee named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.

 

그 사람이 밤에 예수님께 와서 말하였다. "스승님, 저희는 스승님이 하느님에게서 오신 스승이심을 알고 있습니다. 하느님께서 함께 계시지 않으면, 당신께서 일으키시는 그러한 표징들을 아무도 일으킬 수 없기 때문입니다."

He came to Jesus at night and said to him, "Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God, for no one can do these things that you are doing unless God is with him."

그러자 예수님께서 그에게 이르셨다. "내가 진실로 진실로 너에게 말한다. 누구든지 위로부터 태어나지 않으면 하느님의 나라를 볼 수 없다."

Jesus answered and said to him, "Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above."

 

니코데모가 예수님께 말하였다. "이미 늙은 사람이 어떻게 또 태어날 수 있겠습니까? 어머니 배 속에 다시 들어갔다가 태어날 수야 없지 않습니까?"

Nicodemus said to him, "How can a person once grown old be born again? Surely he cannot reenter his mother's womb and be born again, can he?

 

예수님께서 대답하셨다. "내가 진실로 진실로 너에게 말한다. 누구든지 물과 성령으로 태어나지 않으면, 하느님 나라에 들어갈 수 없다.

Jesus answered, "Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit.

 

육에서 태어난 것은 육이고 영에서 태어난 것은 영이다.

What is born of flesh is flesh and what is born of spirit is spirit.

 

'너희는 위로부터 태어나야 한다.'고 내가 말하였다고 놀라지 마라.

Do not be amazed that I told you, 'You must be born from above.'

 

바람은 불고 싶은 데로 분다. 너는 그 소리를 들어도 어디에서 와 어디로 가는지 모른다. 영어에서 태어난 이도 다 이와 같다."

The wind blows where it wills, and you can hear the sound it makes, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes; so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit."

 

니코데모가 예수님께 "그런 일이 어떻게 이루어질 수 있습니까?" 하자,

Nicodemus answered and said to him, "How can this happen?"

 

예수님께서 그에게 대답하셨다. "너는 이스라엘의 스승이면서 그런 것도 모르느냐?

Jesus answered and said to him, "You are the teacher of Israel and you do not understand this?

 

내가 진실로 진실로 너에게 말한다. 우리는 우리가 아는 것을 말하고 본 것을 증언한다. 그러나 너희는 우리의 증언을 받아들이지 않는다.

Amen, amen, I say to you, we speak of what we know and we testify to what we have seen, but you people do not accept our testimony.

 

내가 세상일을 말하여도 너희가 믿지 않는데, 하물며 하늘 일을 말하면 어찌 믿겠느냐?

If I tell you about earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things?

 

하늘에서 내려온 이, 곧 사람의 아들 말고는 하늘로 올라간 이가 없다.

No one has gone up to heaven except the one who has come down from heaven, the Son of Man.

 

모세가 광야에서 뱀을 들어 올린 것처럼, 사람의 아들도 들어 올려져야 한다.

And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of Man be lifted up.

 

믿는 사람은 누구나 사람의 아들 안에서 영원한 생명을 얻게 하려는 것이다.

so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life."

 

하느님께서는 세상을 너무나 사랑하신 나머지 외아들을 내주시어, 그를 믿는 사람은 누구나 멸망하지 않고 영원한 생명을 얻게 하셨다.

For Go so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.

 

하느님께서 아들을 세상에 보내신 것은, 세상을 심판하시려는 것이 아니라 세상이 아들을 통하여 구원을 받게 하시려는 것이다.

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.

 

아들을 믿는 사람은 심판을 받지 않는다. 그러나 믿지 않는 자는 이미 심판을 받았다. 하느님의 외아들의 이름을 믿지 않았기 때문이다.

Whoever believes in him will not be condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

 

그 심판은 이러하다. 빛이 이 세상에 왔지만, 사람들은 빛보다 어둠을 더 사랑하였다. 그들이 하는 일이 악하였기 때문이다.

And this is the verdict, that the light came into the world, but people preferred darkness to light, because their works were evil.

 

악을 저지르는 자는 누구나 빛을 미워하고 빛으로 나아가지 않는다. 자기가 한 일이 드러나지 않게 하려는 것이다.

For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come toward the light, so that his works might not be exposed.

 

그러나 진지를 실천하는 이는 빛으로 나아간다. 자기가 한 일이 하느님 안에서 이루어졌음을 드러내려는 것이다."

But whoever lived the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be clearly seen as done in God.

 

마치며

귀가 무척 얇은 저는 지금까지 여러 번 속은 적이 있습니다. 비싼 가격에 물품을 구매한 적도 있은 물론 어디다 투자하면 고수익을 얻을 수 있다는 말에 힘들게 모아둔 돈을 날리는 경우도 있었습니다.

 

지금 생각하면 그 모든 일에는 '욕심'이 자리하고 있었음을 알게 됩니다. 그리고 나를 속인 사람은 저의 그 욕심을 움직여 저를 흔들었다는 것도 알게 되었습니다.

 

아직까지 위태로울 만큼의 큰 피해는 없었던 것을 다행이라 여기며, 또 지난 실수를 반면교사 삼아 앞으로는 '혹시 이것은 나의 욕심이 아닌가?'라는 질문을 던지면서 보다 신중한 모습을 가지려 합니다.
